2022年インターン生　山口祥真さんの証　2022 TWR JAPAN Internship Testimony of SHOUMA YAMAGUCHI

２０２２年度、TWRでは山口祥真さんに１年間インターン生として参加していただきました。
山口さんには番組の制作・パーソナリティやSNSの管理をはじめ、ご自身の才能を生かし番組に使用するBGMの製作に携わっていただきました。下記に山口さんにTWRで過ごした１年間の証をいただきましたのでご紹介いたします。

このインターンシップを通して、「聖書の話をノンクリスチャンの方にも正しく、分かりやすく伝える訓練」をすることができたと思っています。私はそれまで、ノンクリスチャンの友人に自分がクリスチャンであることを打ち明けてはいるものの、具体的な聖書の話に持っていくことが一切できませんでした。自らの聖書の知識の無さに劣等感を感じていたこともあり、友人に間違った知識を教えてしまったらと思うと中々話す気にはなれず、今の自分では無理だと決めつけていました。そんな中TWRのインターンシップが始まり、「ゴスペルの力」というラジオ番組のパーソナリティをさせていただくことになりました。この番組の中では福音メッセージが語られるのですが、そのメッセージを受けて自分がどう感じたのかということをその都度話す必要がありました。ラジオを通して自分の言葉が全国に届くので、友人に聖書の話をするよりもさらに慎重に言葉を選ぶ必要があり、どうすればノンクリスチャンの方にも共感して頂けるのか、自分はそのメッセージを通して何をリスナーに伝えたいのか、ということを常に考えなければなりませんでした。感情を言語化して考えを整理し、できるだけ分かりやすく話すということは自分にとって大きな試練でしたが、それ故に聖書箇所やメッセージの言葉を正しく解釈しようとする意識が以前よりも強まり、伝道に対する心の準備を常にしておこう、と思うようにもなりました。

TWRのインターンシップを通してこうした経験ができたことは、神様の導きでしかないなと強く感じています。伝道をしたい、またはラジオ伝道に興味があるクリスチャンの学生の方はもちろん、伝道に苦手意識のある方にとっても、TWRでのインターンはクリスチャンとして成長する非常に良い機会になると思います。

Through this internship, I was able to train myself to communicate biblical stories to non-Christians in a correct and easy-to-understand manner. Although I had told my non-Christian friends that I was a Christian, I had never told them specific Bible stories before. Feeling inferior to my own lack of biblical knowledge, I feared that I would teach my friends wrong knowledge, and I had decided that it was impossible for me to do so.

Then my internship at TWR began, and I was asked to be the personality for the radio program called “Power of Gospel”. In this program, the gospel message is spoken, and each time I would talk about how I felt about that message. Because my words reach the whole country through radio, I had to choose my words even more carefully than when talking about the Bible to my friends, and I was constantly thinking about how I could make non-Christians relate to me. It was a great challenge for me to verbalize my feelings, organize my thoughts, and speak as clearly as possible, but it also made me more aware than before of the need to interpret biblical passages and messages correctly and to always be prepared for evangelism.

I strongly feel that God led me to have this experience through the TWR internship. I believe that this internship is a very good opportunity to grow as a Christian, not only for Christian students who want to evangelize or are interested in radio evangelism, but also for those who are not good at evangelism.
